Don't Doubt Me

Stubbornness is not what you would usually see as a good quality. When it is part of the character of the success-minded person, I guess we would call it determination. But the truth is you are stubborn. You will not give up. Why? Because you believe in what you are doing.

A success-minded person has a strong belief in their dream or purpose, and that is vital to full success in anything. Talk to success-minded people who have achieved what some would call the impossible, and they will tell you that they believed they could do it all along. Not allowing doubts or fears to get control, they knew what had to be done, believed in what they were doing, and did it.

“The only thing that will guarantee the successful conclusion of a doubtful undertaking
is faith in the beginning that you can do it.”
William James
1842-1910
Philosopher

Dale Carnegie said, “Inaction breeds doubts and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit at home and think about it. Go out and get busy.” Action is the most potent ingredient in the success formula. Too many people talk about success or think about success or even plan for success. Successful people go out and do success.

As a success-minded person believes in his or her dream or purpose, he/she seems to be able to build the power to do what he/she may not do otherwise. A success-minded person knows that it can be done and is convinced that he or she cannot fail. Walt Disney, a man who believed the impossible and that he could do what others said he could not, built his fantasy kingdom in an old orange field. Disney had a dream, he believed in that dream and took action, and there was Disneyland.

What is your Disneyland? What is the goal you have that may seem too big for even you to believe in? Do not allow others to steal it from you or tell you that you cannot have it. Believe in the dream and then take action. Understand that it is in taking action that you will see it all come to reality. You don’t need the details first; start with what you have. Take the first step and then the next. It will all come. The money, the people, the knowledge, it will all come.

I believe in you. My action is writing things of encouragement and direction. Someone who is reading this will be the success-minded person who will make the world better. They have the idea that will change it all or the product that will make millions of lives better. This is my dream, and I have no doubt that it will happen and is happening.

“And Jesus said to him, ‘If you can! All things are possible to him who believes.”
Mark 9:23
